Time to say.....

 Hi Everyone,

I am going to miss our classes, students and our teacher Julie,but I guess it is time to move on. In my Reading and Writing class I learned a lot about essay's structure, various types of essays, improved my vocabulary and reading comprehension. Actually, it was an unforgettable time in my life. I will celebrate Christmas and New Year Eve with a part of my family here in Canada.  Also I wanna stay in Canada and continue my education. So,next year I will take IELTS test and will sign up for the business administration course in Canadian College.
Also, I wanna go to Italy. Hope my dreams come true.

LIVING IN CANADA

Many years Canada is considered a multicultural country and immigrants all over the world come here pursuing the best life. I came to Canada 2 years ago and everything was different: culture, traditions, people and language. In the beginning of my journey into a new environment I stood between two questions: to assimilate into Canadian society or to preserve Moldavian culture? An important and the biggest contrast that I have noticed between Moldavian and Canadian society was food and language.

While the Canadians have an access to a variety types of food at the restaurants,the  Moldavians eat a traditional type of food at home.  First year I lived in Canadian family where I made first steps to assimilate into Canadian society. In the Canadian family I tried a traditional Canadian cuisine, some of them became my favorite. Now I eat not only Moldavian traditional food, but I cook Canadian courses as well.

For me learning second language was hard and challenging period in my life. In Canada I got chance to talk to native speakers in English, also I have watched TV shows and finally I took the ESL course where I  got a possibility to learn English from teachers whose native language is English.

My life in Canada is in the sharp contrast to the life I lived in Moldova. Beside the fact that between Moldova and Canada exist lots of differences such as: food and language, everyone still can choose between assimilation and preservation own culture. I chose to assimilate.

The Quality to be Successful

  

        The most important quality that person needs to have in order to be successful in life is ambitiousness. Ambitions help person reach the goal and won’t give up. For example Oprah Winfrey,  she run into terrible difficulties, as a result she did not give up, she became successful; moreover, she started to help people with tough lives, as she has before. Also, other example of ambitiousness is my brother in law-James who wants to become a successful chief. Every day he meets different obstacles and misunderstandings, but no matter how many mistakes he makes, he practices a lot and refuses to leave his dream unrealized. I think the ambitiousness is the main quality, which helps people to attain success.  

Success

    Success. What does it mean for me?
I can describe Success as a positive finish.For someone success could be a goal and a way to earn more money, for me being successful  is a result of all my set-up short- and long-terms goals.I wanna  be successful in my career in Canada.If I realize my dream,I will be able to bring my parents in Canada and help them here. That is mean my success will bring happiness in my life,because I will get a chance to help my family.I am ready to run into difficulties,make efforts and make mistakes.I think only adversity makes us stronger and learn us to be ready for challenges. Difficulties and mistakes help me to develop myself in the right way.

For me success is something more than money, it is happiness.I wanna be happy, who doesn't?for me being successful is being satisfied))))

  Hi everyone,

          How do I learn a new English word?I am going to write about instrument,which I use in    studying a new word and my own method how to remember a new English word. 
 Before I came to Canada,I had always used native language dictionaries,which were unhelpful to me to learn English))))It was my the biggest mistake,because I think that experience gave me a chance just to learn a narrow meaning of a word)))Now I changed my opinion and started to use the online English Dictionary and sometimes Oxford Dictionary))I love Online English Dictionary,because in this Dictionary you can find different descriptions of  meanings to each word, and also this vocabulary gives opportunity to practice the pronunciation,learn different synonyms that is mean at the same time I learn more words,which is helpful to my improvement.My main and helpful instrument is English Dictionary,where all descriptions in English. 
My own method is when I have enough time I rewrite a new word in my notebook it helps me to remember how to write that word without mistakes in the future and gives me an additional opportunity to remember that word.Also I would like to try the following method as well:To learn everyday a one new word!!!

 I truly believe,that my method to rewrite a new word and instrument -  Online Dictionary will help someone to improve vocabulary, and I am also open to try more new methods how to improve my vocabulary.

ESL Program

   Hi everyone,
This is my first experience of being blogger and I feel so excited:-)I am from Moldova, eastern part of Europe. For three years I have been thinking to continue my education in a different country.I decided to go to Canada.I  have short-term goals and long-term goal. My short-term goals are to improve English and pass IELTS test. I already have started to achieve my goals, I've been accepted into ESL program in University of Calgary and I have started to take English language classes.My long-term goal is to be enrolled in the Canadian University.
Also I can not stop thinking that I would like to relate my major accounting with customs brokerage and logistic.So that is mean I am still looking for myself .I have been trying different types of things,different jobs and still can say what I really like to do for the rest of life.I totally can say that I do not want to spend the rest of my life for doing job which I don't like.
I like cooking and traveling.My dream is to visit Italy.
Hope someday my dreams come true.
